Gain Competitive Advantage Through Competitive Intelligence

If I asked you to list your 5 major competitors, you could probably give me names in less than a minute. However, you might have more difficulty if I asked you to list your competitor’s connections or the organizations to which they belong.
 
Yet, this  valuable knowledge about competitors can spark ideas that will improve your own practice. By studying the social media sites maintained by others in your field of practice, you can mine a wealth of untapped resources.
